Engaged in comprehensive flight training; designated a Naval Aviator in January 1975. Performed Naval Officer and operational pilot duties, primarily flying EC-130 Hercules aircraft, culminating in Aircraft Commander Status. Logged over 2,000 pilot-flight hours while conducting airborne communications missions.
